紫外熔融石英双凹透镜是一种焦距为负的光学元件,其主要功能是发散会聚的光束。这种透镜可以将准直的光束发散并形成一个虚焦点,因此常被应用于伽利略型扩束器中。
由于紫外级熔融石英在深紫外波段拥有优异的透过率,且激光诱导荧光现象较弱,因此成为紫外至近红外波段应用的理想材料。
不仅如此,相较于常用的N-BK7玻璃,紫外级熔融石英还具备更佳的均匀性以及更低的热膨胀系数。
